KELLY LAID BARE

Well, this week sees the first of the Nightowl News interviews with famous Nightowls. We're starting this week with Kelly from Durham. It contains the answers to such questions as "Who is better, Paul or Johnny?"; "Why haven't you got any small bottles of Lucozade?" and the sure fire thing to annoy Kelly: "Do you fancy Alan?"

To find the answers to these questions and more, go to the Interviews page now.

It won't be the last Interview either, in the coming months we'll be interviewing Callum from Morpeth and Paul from South Shields, as well as more.

OXFORD?

Oxford! I'm going there to the Emerald City (yes I just made that nickname up) and the infamous Univercity to find out for the more intellectual people in England (that the inhabitants of the North East) what makes Oxford tick and what do you need to do to go there? I'll be there for Nightowl News in my very own 'student-esque' pad bringing you all the news on courses and student life there.

I'll be back to bring you a report and photos next week.

CHRIS!

A big welcome to Chris from Birtley who joined the Nightowl News team this week. The editor gives this statement: "Do well or I'll get you fired"

Iddn't that nice?

Paddy's Column
Hi, it's me, Patrick here to give you my lowdown on one of the past weeks events in my opinion. Sort of like 'Sun Says' but not in The Sun, or on paper infact. Unless you print this out. But I digress.

Dead or Alive...?
Well, the Grizzly Trail is hot on everyone's lips this week, what with creepy photos, 7 mile tailbacks and hundreds of people joining in it makes some extraodinary listening! Not only that, but the next thing is (as it's been dubbed) the 'Grizzly Cruise'. Now, I knew Nightowls was popular, but I can't think of any other radio phone-in show that offers that kind of entertainment. Many people would just say 'it's only a phone-in show' but then that's what makes it so unique. The fact that something that's just a phone-in can create such a cult following that the station is
willing to organise a cruise for it's listeners!

Well, it's nice to know that Alan Robson has made the Nightowls programme into something for everyone. It's not a radio show. It's a community, a fraternity. Well, see you on deck! Man the ship, we've got Nightowl's coming! Tally-ho, Paddy fans!
